Standard School Day
The standard school day at Brickey-McCloud begins at 7:45 a.m., but students may begin entering the building at 7:15. Upon arrival, students should report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to the gymnasium. At 7:30 a.m., they are dismissed to their classrooms. Students arriving after 7:50 are considered tardy and must be checked-in by a parent/guardian at the front office.
To be counted present for the day, children must attend school for at least 3.5 hours.
Dismissal begins at 2:40 p.m. with bus riders, followed by car rider pickup at 2:45 p.m. All students should be picked up by 3:00 p.m., unless they are participating in after-school programs or enrolled in Shades of Development, our on-site after-care program.
Scheduled Half Days
On scheduled half days, students will dismiss at 11:15 a.m. Buses will run their regular routes, but lunch will not be served on these days.
